Every carer in Coventry and Warwickshire is entitled to a FREE Carers Assessment to look at the impact that the care and support you provide is having on your own wellbeing. Have you had yours yet? 

These checks can: 

• advise or signpost for support to make sure you are receiving the correct benefits and funding, 
• support you with your health and wellbeing, 
• identify training to help you with your care role (for example manual handling or dementia training), 
• advise how we can help you with your care role in an emergency situation - for example, you fall ill. 

Carers Assessments can take place over the phone, in your own home or a community venue in your locality.
