Young carers are children over the age of 5 who support a family member. It could be a parent, grandparent, or sibling. Often, they are late for school or don’t have time to do their homework because of their caring roles. Understanding who your young carers and young adult carers are, helps their lives become easier.
Cake bakes, own clothes, silly sock day, or a Dragon’s Den challenge – whatever you choose, we can help with assemblies and lesson plans, or just support you with linking education of who a carer is to helping you recognise those in your educational settings.
