Young carers are children over the age of 5 who support a family member. It could be a parent, grandparent, or sibling. Often, they are late for school or don’t have time to do their homework because of their caring roles. Understanding who your young carers and young adult carers are, helps their lives become easier. 

Cake bakes, own clothes, silly sock day, or a Dragon’s Den challenge – whatever you choose, we can help with assemblies and lesson plans, or just support you with linking education of who a carer is to helping you recognise those in your educational settings. 

Sports day 

From taking part in events, to selling snacks and drinks – there’s something for everyone at a sports day. Make it your own, with quirky events or by dressing up. 

Talent night 

Undiscovered singer? Spoon-playing extraordinaire? Whatever your talent is, show it off at a talent night! 

Dress-down day 

Own-clothes days are a super simple way of raising money in schools. Pick a fun outfit, and ask for a small donation for people to join in. 

Bake sale 

An all-time fundraising classic, you can’t beat a good bake sale. These bring joy to the rainiest of break times and staff rooms. 

Upcycle/recycle fashion show 

Showcase your school or university’s design talent while helping the planet with a second-hand fashion show. Sell tickets, have fun, and dress to impress whilst being sustainable.
