Our specialised Wellbeing Advisors endeavor to identify and engage with carers from Minority-Ethnic Communities and help them access some of the fantastic services available across Coventry and Warwickshire.

We are driven by the strong belief that EVERYONE - regardless of race, disability, religion, sickness, age, beliefs, sex or vulnerability - should be able to receive support.

Some of the support includes:

• Supporting carers individually and in groups
• Supporting carers to access ESOL courses, if English is not their first language
• Providing information about new initiatives, policies and legislation
• Negotiation and mediation, survey form filling and signposting to services that can support with accessing benefits and other financial services

We look to support carers from Minority Ethnic Communities with group sessions that are tailored to support carers diverse and cultural needs. We host a range of activities during our carer group sessions including dominoes, cards, bingo, yoga and hand massages as well as advice and signposting.

All of our sessions are advertised regularly across our social media platforms and also sent out to carers who are registered for our email bulletins. We look forward to seeing you at some of our sessions!
