At Carers Trust Heart of England, our mission is to support unpaid carers of all ages and people with care and support needs to live well. Everything we do is guided by our charitable aims which are to support carers and those they care for by providing the highest possible quality, individually tailored care and support services that improve the lives of carers, the people they care for and their families, all regulated by the Care Quality Commission. This means putting people first and making sure they get the help they are entitled to, and we achieve this using the following principles:
If you or the person you care for comes to us for help, we will always make sure you access any free support, funding, or entitlements available to you before we explore other options.
We help you navigate the care system, understand your rights, and link you with local authority or NHS support where appropriate.
Once your free options are in place, you may still want additional services to make life easier or to give extra peace of mind. That’s where our chargeable services come in.
By choosing us, whether for free or paid services, you are not only receiving care and support– you are also helping us continue our charitable work to support thousands of carers and families across our community.

We offer person centred, respectful support with daily routines such as washing, dressing, toileting, and bathing. Our goal is to help you feel comfortable, confident, and cared for while maintaining your dignity and independence.

A helping hand throughout the day — whether that’s preparing meals, offering mobility support, helping with medication, or simply sharing good company. We’re here to make each day easier and more enjoyable.

Peace of mind through the night. Our carers can stay overnight to offer reassurance, help with toileting or medication, and ensure you’re safe and comfortable until morning.

Everyone needs a break sometimes. Our respite care gives family members or regular carers time to rest and recharge, while we provide person centred, reliable care and companionship at home.

Sometimes, what matters most is having someone to share the day with. We love spending time chatting, playing games, going for walks, or enjoying a cup of tea together — brightening your day with friendly company.

Keeping your home clean and cosy makes a big difference. We can help with tidying, laundry, shopping, meal prep, and other household tasks so you can relax and enjoy your home.

A little extra help to keep things running smoothly. Whether it’s organising appointments, managing paperwork, running errands, or getting out and about, a PA offers flexible support that fits around your lifestyle and needs.
