We are looking for a small number of Coventry people, 65 and over, who are living with mild cognitive impairment or dementia, and also their carers, to help select and rate a number of art works from The Herbert Gallery’s collection.

The research team plan to produce a set of local ‘digital’ artworks (paintings, pictures, photographs) and linked descriptions with aim of helping improve people’s wellbeing; as being something that may possibly help to delay cognitive decline. They will be keen to hear your views on whether you think the art works are suitable to include in the app, and to discuss the possible wording of linked text explaining the art works.

As a small thank you for taking part, participants would receive a £25 shopping token. 

This is a research collaboration between the Universities of Warwick and Coventry, in conjunction with The Herbert Gallery and Museum, and Carers Trust Heart of England and is funded by Coventry City of Culture 2021.
