Carers Week is where the UK comes together to raise awareness and recognise the incredible contribution carers make to families and communities.

This year's Carers Week theme is  ‘make caring visible, valued and supported' and to celebrate our local carers, we have more than 30 activities and events for you to join between Monday 6th - Friday 12th June!

Monday 6th June

• Afternoon tea: 11:30am - 3:30pm Penny Collard Centre (Limited spaces)
• Aromatherapy massage We would like to offer a free of charge pre-blended Aromatherapy Massage session to carers to help improve your well-being. This will take place at the Nuneaton Campus North Warwickshire and Hinckley College so we can ensure comfort and privacy, enabling you to fully relax 10.15am start (Limited spaces)
• Volunteers Fair If you are interested in volunteering then pop along to see us at Voluntary Action Coventry, 27-29 Trinity Street, CV1 1FJ come and say hi! 10am - 3pm
• Working carers session Are you caring full-time as well as holding down a job? Information and advice session around your caring role (Zoom) 6pm - 8pm Zoom link: https://bit.ly/3wxTkOW
• UHCW information day and carers drop in - Come and see Tahira and Tim at the foyer of UHCW from 10am - 4pm

Tuesday 7th June

• Care and Share Mental Health Support Group: Come along to find out more about the service we offer to Mental Health carers 10:30am - 12:30pm, at Bonds Hospital, Hill Street, CV1 4AX
• Penderels Trust Direct payments and appointeeships session at Bonds Lodge, Hill Street, CV1 4GZ at 12pm to 1pm
• Laughter yoga: Join us for some laughter promoting wellness & happiness at the Penny Collard Centre 11am-12pm
• Meditation and Breath work: In-person mindfulness session for a therapeutic release 1pm-2pm, Penny Collard Centre
• Men's Allowing Change session: This free online workshop focuses on allowing change in a positive way. (Zoom) between 1:30pm to 3pm. Zoom link: https://bit.ly/3MuxYZB

• Gardening Workshop with Chris Collins: Some tips for managing your garden 10.30am-2:30pm, Penny Collard Centre (Limited spaces)
• Stratford Carers Mental Health group Come along to find out more about the service we offer to Mental Health carers (Face to face at the Lifeways Centre, CV37 6PG) 2.30pm - 4.00pm
• Carers Tea@3: 3pm - 4pm (Zoom)

Thursday 9th June

• Liz Sparkes Mindfulness Session: 10am - 11am, Bond's Hospital

• Carers Information Hub Drop in to speak to one of our trained staff to discuss any of your Carers issues or for information and support in your caring role (Bedworth Community Grocery store Congreve Walk Bedworth, CV12 8LY) 10am - 3pm
• Carer Information Point, with Carers Trust, Admiral Nurses and Discharge Team at Warwick Hospital from 12.30pm – 2.00pm
• Flower arranging: 1pm - 3pm, Penny Collard Centre Limited spaces
• African and Caribbean Carers Support Group: Come along to find out more the group and the support we can offer carers 1.30pm - 3pm
• Working carers Are you caring for someone you love and working? Speak with our trained staff for information and advice on your caring role  session (Zoom ) 6pm - 8pm Zoom link: https://bit.ly/3LtGzKL
