As well as our universal Information, Advice and Support Service, we are able to offer some specialist services for carers. Please also see our support for Young Carers.
Targeted Carer Support
Some carers have very specific needs or the nature of their caring role can mean that specialist knowledge is required. We have secured funding to support some specific groups of carers:
- Cancer Carers
- Mental Health Carers
- Chinese Carers
- Carers of people with Learning Disabilities from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Communities
Some community groups also require information in other languages and so we have produced our Information for Carers in a number of community languages that can be downloaded below.
Carer Emergency Card
Come into the Carers’ Centre to get your Carer Emergency card to put in your purse or wallet in case something happens to you.
If you can’t get to the Centre either contact us to post one out to you or click here to print your own.
