We can support you with personal care, light domestic duties and shopping. We can also provide companionship, reassurance and help you to access opportunities within the community including supporting you to attend GP and hospital appointments, visits to the dentist, optician, hairdressers or place of worship.

Personal Care Services

Often just a little help with the demands of a daily routine can support your independence and greatly enhance the quality of your life whilst maintaining privacy and dignity.

We can provide support with getting out of bed in the morning, bathing and dressing, preparation of drinks and meals, prompting or the administration of medication. We can also visit during the day and in the evening to undertake any support you may need including helping you into bed at night and securing your property to ensure a restful, worry free sleep.

Domestic Services

Domestic services provide help with everyday tasks such as cleaning, washing and ironing and preparation of meals. We can support you to do your shopping or undertake this on your behalf. We can also support you to pay bills, collect your pension and generally access other services you wish to use.

Social and Community-based Services

We offer a personalised service enabling you to access the community and social activities of your choice. This service has been designed to support people who may otherwise find themselves socially isolated at home due to their personal circumstances of disability, frailty or simply unable to go out on their own. Our trained care support staff can provide companionship, reassurance and friendship together with encouragement to access community activities of choice.

Live-in Care Services

A live-in carer lives alongside you in your own home. It’s a personal, full-time service providing one-to-one care for you, in the comfort of your own home ensuring all your needs are met. We recommend trying live-in care as an alternative to a residential home, which is a big step to take and a decision that can be difficult to reverse.

Telecare Service

Telecare is a service provided by Social Services to ensure that elderly or disabled people can continue to live independently in their own home. Equipment is provided so that in the case of an emergency you can call for assistance. Depending on your assessment equipment can be provided so that in an emergency if you are unresponsive assistance will be called for on your behalf. Together with the other emergency services Carers Trust respond to calls for help and provides any personal care support that is needed for those users of this service who have no next of kin living locally. This service responds to emergency calls 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and gives elderly, frail or disabled people living on their own peace of mind about “what if”.
